Postpartum Alopecia

Postpartum Alopecia refers to hair loss experienced by many women after giving birth. During pregnancy, increased levels of estrogen often lead to thicker, more vibrant hair. However, after childbirth, as hormone levels normalize, there's a shedding of the hair that was preserved during pregnancy. This condition is typically temporary, with hair growth usually returning to its normal state within a year.
